DAY BY THE SEA 2019

Our 5th Day By The Sea in 2019 proved our most successful yet with a packed house greeting all the artistes on the bill. President Roy Hudd and Vice President Wyn Calvin welcomed everybody at 10.30am with an hilarious sing-a-long followed by a music hall show, interviews, archive film clips, comedy, music and, to round off the afternoon, a traditional variety show, with the curtain coming down at 6.30pm.

Here are some of the comments we have received:

It was absolutely first class

Another glittering and glorious success

I had a wonderful time

An absolute cracker

A fantastic show and a superb lineup of talented artistes

DAY BY THE SEA 2018

Day By The Sea 2018 proved another great success at the Royal Hippodrome, Eastbourne on Saturday June 2nd 2018 when a capacity crowd enjoyed a day of music hall and variety entertainment. The fun started at 10.30am when President Roy Hudd and Vice President Wyn Calvin welcomed the audience with a sing-a-long session and continued all day with comedy, magic, a dance band, a music hall show, interviews, archive film footage and a variety bill, until the company and audience sang Show Me The Way To Go Home at 6.30pm.

Here are some of the comments we have received:

A brilliant day's entertainment. Can't wait for next year.

I certainly had tears running down my cheeks from laughing so much.

Brilliant value for money.

It was better than ever this year - if that is possible.

DAY BY THE SEA 2017

Day By The Sea 2017 proved a tremendous success at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne on Saturday 3rd June 2017. Doors opened at 10am and the event kicked off at 10.30am with President Roy Hudd and Vice President Wyn Calvin greeting the audience with a music hall sing-a-long. They were followed by Jimmy Cricket and the day was really under way with a splendid array of artistes offering comedy, music, song and magic. Add interviews and archive film footage to the mix and the result was a superb banquet of entertainment all the way to 7.45pm when the curtain fell.

Here are some of the comments we have received:

What a spectacular show you put on. I haven't laughed so much in a long time and I'm sure the rest of the audience felt the same.

Every second of every minute of every hour of the wonderful Day By The Sea in Eastbourne 2017 will be remembered forever (or may be even longer) by the audience. It was FANTASTIC.

A really, really lovely day. We were all thrilled with it and want to come back next year. It was absolutely brilliant.

We both enjoyed every minute and are looking forward to next year already!
