DAY BY THE SEA - JUNE 2016

Following its great success in 2015, Day By The Sea returned, by popular demand, to the Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne on Saturday 4th June 2016. Doors opened at 10am and the extravaganza kicked off at 10.30am with our President Roy Hudd and Vice President Wyn Calvin leading the packed audience in a good old sing song. A feast of entertainment followed with comedy, music, song, interviews and archive film clips until the curtain fell just before 8.30pm with the assembled artistes singing Show Me The Way To Go Home!

Here are some of the comments we have received:

"It was a fantastic day. Couldn't have been bettered. I haven't sung so much for ages. I'm still a bit hoarse!"

"Thank you to so many talented people who kept us entertained all day and to all the organisers who made it such a memorable and enjoyable time."

"What a fantastic event!"

"Many thanks for another brilliant Day By The Sea."

"The question on everyone's lips is ...will there be another Day By The Sea next year? I for one bloomin' well hope so!"
